I am a military spouse and an alumnus of Howard University (District of Columbia), where I majored in mechanical engineering. During high school, I took the ACT, SAT and ASVAB exams. In high school I was a member of the advanced placement math team where I placed in the top 10% of math students in the state of Tennesee.
Experience
I am proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint. I am also skilled in AudoCAD. I have coached corporate groups needing a refresher and new students. My subject expertise includes college algebra, pre-calculus, geometry, trigonometry, algebra I, II, and standardized test preparation. Students regularly request my services when preparing for the math sections of the ASVAB, ACT, SAP, SPAT, GED, GRE, HSPT, and HSA exams. I tutor students of all ages needing that extra boost of confidence in math.
